A little bit about me...

From an early age I knew that I wanted to be a therapist. As a child I had severe eczema and my parents

took me for every complementary therapy they could afford as conventional medicine wasn’t working.

I met lots of amazing therapists who inspired me. From the age of 16, I began attending courses in

Nutrition, Aromatherapy, Reiki and Massage, experimenting with different therapies, but it wasn’t

until I went through a challenging period in my late 20’s that I experienced first hand the power of

Reflexology and knew that this was the therapy I wanted to practice.

 

I trained at the London School of Reflexology in 2009 with the renowned Louise Keet, completing a

diploma in Reflexology. Continuing to keep my practice up to date, I complete a number of cpd

courses each year, such as postgraduate training in Fertility Reflexology with Sally Earlam MAR,

The Manzanares Method™ of Reflexology, as well as Tony Porters ‘Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART).

In 2015, I attended an intensive 4 day Maternity Reflexology Training Programme (MRTP) with the inspiring Mauricio Kruchik. Mauricio is the founder of the Maternity Reflexology website which includes some interesting information about reflexology in Pregnancy - www.maternityreflexology.net. I have have also completed the advanced Fertility Reflexology training and am a proud member of the Fertility Reflexology Network. 

 

A couple of years ago, I completed a facial reflexology course which has to be one of the most relaxing treatments that I have ever experienced and also had the pleasure of giving! It not only balances the body and is deeply relaxing, but it also reduces wrinkles, reduces under eye bags and lifts the face - naturally!  You can combine the facial reflexology with a foot reflexology treatment, starting with half an hour on the face, and finishing with 45 minutes on the feet - pure bliss!

Last year I discovered Abdominal Massage and was hooked! I found it as I have always suffered from digestive issues, which is usually the case with people with eczema, and the abdominal massage has been life changing! I cannot rave about this treatment enough! It is amazing for constipation, IBS, fertility issues, emotional blockages, anxiety...

 

I have been a therapist for 12 years and I love my work! I am still in awe of the amazing results that the right complementary therapy can have on a person. Over the years I have learnt a variety of techniques that I use during a session to get the deepest results - no treatment is ever the same. I can be strong if necessary, but equally, at the right time, a very gentle technique can be just as powerful, sometimes even more so. Most of my work is slow, patient and deep, remaining mindful of your pain tolerance.

I treat people holistically, often using more than one therapy during a session to get the best results. My treatments are relaxed, informal and confidential. I offer a nurturing, safe healing space for people to share their concerns and worries.
